Safety of our students, families, and staff is our #1 priority. Staff at Kids Habitat II have received Covid-19 required training on new health and safety protocols. In order to create the safest learning environment possible during this unpredictable time, we have implemented the following additional guidelines during Covid-19.
Our current health and safety practices include:
Protective Masks-
Face coverings are required for any adult entering the building (all staff members wear them when working with children). All Children above 2 years are required to wear a mask at all times as per law and Licensing (Except for eating, sleeping and outdoor play). Parents are required to wear mask/face covering when dropping and picking up their child. ⦁ ⦁
Screening-
We are screening everyone (staff, children, visitors, etc.) upon arrival for temperature and evident symptoms. Parents are required to keep their child at home, if they are sick. Neither family members or their child or any household member have- fever, cough, chills, or any other symptoms of Covid-19. Have or has recently traveled to an area heavily impacted by Corona virus. Is awaiting a Covid-19 test result.
Safe Distancing-
To curb the spread of germs and control group size, we are having parents and family members not enter our building. Pick up and Drop up will be a the main door. Parents are asked to maintain social distance between each other while signing in their child, and wait until another parent is finished; in order to maintain safe distance.
⦁ Safe and Healthy We are not serving breakfast or afternoon snacks from kitchen due to Covid-19. Meals, snacks should come from home individually labeled brown bag. Washed bedding everyday. Water bottle everyday.
⦁ ⦁ Enhanced Health PracticesWe’ve strengthened our already rigorous cleanliness and hygiene practices (such as more frequent hand washing, and increased cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of surfaces and items in classrooms and rest of the building.
